CAMPING RULES
Camping at the Showgrounds
- Camping at the Showgrounds is THREE (3) weeks in and THREE (3) weeks out for Caravans, Motorhomes, Buses
- Camping at the Showgrounds is ONE (1) week in and ONE (1) week out for Camper Trailers and Rooftop Tents
- Campsites will be allocated by the Camping office or After-Hours Camp Caretaker
- If payment is not received by 10am day of departure a Late Payment Administration Fee of up to $50 may be charged
To ensure you have the most relaxed and enjoyable stay possible, please respect other people’s space and property, and follow the few simple rules:
- Caboolture Showgrounds is a work site and Event Centre, machinery, mowing, weed spraying and loud noise will be operating throughout the grounds – Speed limit is 10km. Please give way to all machinery.
- All vehicles/trailers are to be registered to be able to stay on the showgrounds.
Check In
- You Must NOT go to your site unless you have booked in at the Reception or with Camp Caretaker
- All Monies owed will be paid IN FULL prior to you occupying your site
- Sites are not available for occupancy before 10am unless you have prior approval from the Caretaker / Office
Check Out
- Check out time is no later than 10am. Failure to vacate your site by this time could result in an additional late fee charge
Respect – FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION, NO WARNING
- Show respect to fellow campers and our office/grounds team
- No verbal or physical abuse will be tolerated
- No discrimination or illegal activity will be accepted
- No vandalism or destruction of property on the grounds
The below park rules must be adhered to. Failure to follow these rules will result in one (1) letter of warning. The second breach will result in being asked to immediately vacate the premises. Any costs associated with removal will be at your own expense.
Noise
- There is a noise curfew of 7pm. Please consider others and remember voices carry at night.
- Early noise: it would be appreciated if noise can be restricted until 8am.
- Generators can be used between 8am and 7pm.
Toilet Blocks
- Children under the age of 13 are to be accompanied by a parent at all times.
- Parents are responsible for their children’s behaviour.
- All of this area is a smoke free zone including Laundry.
Chemical Dump Site
- This is located at the northern end of the toilet block.
Pets
- Pets are welcome. However, all animals must be kept on a lead at all times. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet to avoid inconvenience to other campers and you must never leave your pet unattended.
- Pets are strictly not permitted in the amenities block – no exceptions!

Responsibilities
- Parents are responsible for controlling and supervising the behaviour of their children, for their own safety and comfort of others.
- Campers use the facilities at their own risk. No responsibility will be taken by Management for any loss or damage to people’s property or equipment.
Rubbish
- Please place all rubbish in the industrial bin provided opposite the amenities block. Please note this is only for household waste. Any additional rubbish needs to be disposed of at the Local Refuse Station.
Sites
- Please keep sites clean and tidy at all times.
- Please check that all hose fittings are fitted correctly and not leaking.
- Please check that all power leads and connections can’t get wet
- You must ensure that all your belongings fit within site markers.
PET POLICY
This policy applies to ANY animal in the Caboolture Showgrounds camping area. We ask that you act responsibly, think of others and be aware of what is happening around you.
Acceptance of any pet is at the discretion of Management.
All pets are to be registered with Office/Caretaker on arrival and are welcome to stay on the Showgrounds, however, all of the below rules must be adhered to.
If you are leaving the grounds for any reason, please take your pet with you, do not leave them at the campsite or in your van unattended.
All pets (large or small) must be kept on a hand leash at all times whilst on the showgrounds.
A leash must be no more than two metres in length.
Pet owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste and placing in a rubbish bin. Pet owners are responsible for keeping their site clean of pet waste on a daily basis.
Whilst staying on the grounds, your pet must either be short length chained or caged to minimise incidents or accidents occurring. Pets left not appropriately tied or housed, creating a nuisance, owners may be asked to leave.
Pets are NOT permitted inside the amenities blocks, or shade shelter at any time. (Exception being registered assistance dog)
Please keep barking under control – others close by would appreciate this greatly.
Pet owners agree to take full responsibility of any personal injury or damage caused by their pet whilst in the confines of the showgrounds and agree to pay for any claims of compensation in relation to the pets activities.
THESE RULES ARE IN PLACE FOR THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF ALL PATRONS OF THE PARK. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES COULD RESULT IN EVICTION FROM THE PARK WITHOUT REFUND AND REENTRY IN THE FUTURE REFUSED.
THE REGISTERED OCCUPANT OF A SITE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THEIR PARTY AND ANY GUESTS.
RESPECT YOUR FELLOW CAMPER – LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER – REPORT ANY SUSPICOUS BEHAVIOUR.
