Camping Policy

Overview

To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all campers, please adhere to the following policies regarding camping at the Caboolture Showgrounds.

Policy

Camping Duration
Caravans, Motorhomes, Buses: 3 weeks in/out.
Camper Trailers, Rooftop Tents: 1 week in/out.

Campsite Allocation
• All campsites will be assigned by the Camping Office or After-Hours Camp Caretaker.
Note: If payment is not received by 10 AM on the day of departure, a Late Payment Administration Fee of up to $50 may be charged.

General Rules for a Relaxed Stay
• Caboolture Showgrounds operates as a work site and Event Centre; expect the presence of machinery, mowing, weed spraying, and loud noise.
Speed Limit: 10 km/h. Please give way to all machinery.
• All vehicles and trailers must be registered to remain on the grounds.

Check-In Procedures
1. Booking: You must check in at the reception or with the Camp Caretaker before accessing your site.
2. Payment: All fees must be paid in full prior to occupying your site.
3. Occupancy Time: Sites are available after 10 AM unless prior approval has been granted.

Check-Out Procedures
• Check-out time is no later than 10 AM. Failure to vacate your site on time may result in an additional late fee.

Respect and Conduct
Immediate Eviction: Any violation of the following conduct rules will result in immediate eviction, with no prior warning.
o Show respect for fellow campers and staff.
o No verbal or physical abuse will be tolerated.
o Discrimination or illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
o Vandalism or destruction of property is not allowed.

Noise Regulations
1. Curfew: Noise should be minimized after 7 PM.
2. Quiet Hours: Please limit noise until 8 AM.
3. Generators: Allowed between 8 AM and 7 PM.

Toilet Block Etiquette
• Children under 13 must be always accompanied by a parent/guardian
• All showground facilities are smoke-free zones.

Pets Policy
• Acceptance of any pet is at the discretion of Management.
• All pets are to be registered with Office/Caretaker on arrival and are welcome to stay on the Showgrounds, however, all of the below rules must be adhered to.
If you are leaving the grounds for any reason, please take your pet with you, do not leave them at the campsite or in your van unattended.
• All pets (large or small) must be kept on a hand leash at all times whilst on the showgrounds.
A leash must be no more than two metres in length.
• Pet owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste and placing it in a rubbish bin. Pet owners are responsible for keeping their site clean of pet waste on a daily basis.
• Whilst staying on the grounds, your pet must either be short-length chained or caged to minimise incidents or accidents occurring. Pets left not appropriately tied or housed, creating a nuisance, owners may be asked to leave.
• Pets are NOT permitted inside the amenities blocks, or shade shelter at any time. (Exception being registered assistance dog)
• Please keep barking under control – others close by would appreciate this greatly.
• Pet owners agree to take full responsibility for any personal injury or damage caused by their pet whilst in the confines of the showgrounds and agree to pay for any claims of compensation in relation to the pet's activities.

Responsibilities
• Parents are responsible for supervising their children's safety and behaviour.
• Campers use facilities at their own risk; Management is not responsible for property loss or damage.

Rubbish Disposal
• Place rubbish in the designated industrial bin across from the amenities block. Additional waste must be taken to the Local Refuse Station.

Camper Site Maintenance
• Keep campsites clean and tidy.
• Ensure all hose fittings are secure and leak-free.
• Check that all power leads and connections are safe from water exposure.

Important Notice

These rules are in place for the safety and security of all patrons. Noncompliance may result in eviction without refund, and re-entry may be denied. The registered occupant is responsible for all members of their party. Please respect other campers, look out for one another, and report any suspicious behaviour.
